DAY 1 & 2 ARRIVAL IN SEATTLE

Arrive in Seattle, located beautifully between the Cascade Mountains and the deep blue sea. Enough time to explore the waterfront and catch the sunset from atop the famous Space Needle which dominates Seattle’s skyline.

DAY 3 SEATTLE TO LAKE QUINAULT 250 miles/400 Km

Drive to the Olympic Peninsula, a scenic wilderness area extending from glacier-clad mountains to ocean shore. Here you can explore one of the largest and most beautiful rain forests in North America.

DAY 4 LAKE QUINAULT TO PORT ANGELES 90 miles/144 Km

Today you will drive around the peninsula to Port Angeles. You will pass by marvelous beaches and a short detour will enable you to visit an ancient Indian village.

DAY 5 PORT ANGELES TO VICTORIA 120 miles/192 Km

A Ferry will bring you across the Strait of Juan de Fuca to Victoria, a charming city that retains a strong British flavor in architecture and traditions. Visit the Parliament Buildings and enjoy the lively harbor area full of entertainment and shopping or join the afternoon tea crowd at the Empress Hotel which is said to epitomize early Victoria.

DAY 6 & 7 & 8 VICTORIA TO VANCOUVER 50 miles/80Km

Vancouver winds around rivers and ocean inlets, full of shops and restaurants, parks and paths, museums and beaches. Vancouver is Canada’s third largest city, and the fastest expanding. Experience the different neighborhoods and the range of cultures in this lovely town.

DAY 9 VANCOUVER TO KAMLOOPS 225 miles/360 Km

You will drive through the Cascade Mountains to Kamloops, which was settled at the confluence of two rivers, and its shape bends around these waters. The town is one of the largest of interior British Columbia.

DAY 10 & 11 KAMLOOPS TO BANFF 310 miles/496 Km

Today’s route leads over the Rogers Pass to Banff National Park. Just north of Banff lies the breathtaking blue-green Lake Louise. The next day is reserved entirely for Canada’s oldest National Park.

DAY 12 BANFF TO WATERTON NATL. PARK 310 miles/500 Km

Today you can choose between two routes to get to your destination. You can either follow the historical trail and visit the Bar U Ranch, the Heads-Smashed-In-Buffalo Jump and Fort MacLeod or go straight to Waterton and enjoy the beauty of that park.

DAY 13 WATERTON TO GLACIER NATL. PARK 50 miles/80 Km

A short drive will bring you back to the US and to Glacier National Park. Enough time to enjoy the parks stunning alpine meadows filled with flowers, more than 200 lakes, a rich wildlife, and hundreds of hiking trails linking areas of beauty.

DAY 14 GLACIER NATIONAL PARK TO MISSOULA 110 miles/175 Km

On the way to Missoula stop at the Ignatius Mission and learn about early mission days, then drive through the Natl. Bison Range where you can watch Bison, Elk, Bighorn Sheep and Mountain Goats. Missoula is the cultural center of Montana.

DAY 15 & 16 MISSOULA TO YELLOWSTONE 280 miles/450 Km

Continue to Yellowstone National Park, the first national park in the world. Old Faithful, spouting hot water jets, and more than 10,000 other geysers, hot springs, and bubbling mud volcanoes make this the most extensive thermal area in the world.

DAY 17 YELLOWSTONE TO TWIN FALLS 335 miles/536 Km

On your drive to Twin Falls you will have the possibility to explore a couple more parks Grand Teton National Park which offers some of the most stunning scenery in the United States and Craters of the Moon, an astonishing landscape of vast lava fields studded with cinder cones.

DAY 18 TWIN FALLS TO PENDLETON 355 miles/568 Km

Today you will drive along I-84 which follows nearly the same trace as its wagon-cut ancestor - the Oregon Trail. The Old West is still alive along the Oregon Trail and in and around Pendleton

DAY 19 PENDLETON TO PORTLAND 210 miles/336 Km

Drive through the awesome Columbia River Gorge to Portland which is one of the most delightful cities in America. Stroll through many different neighborhoods each with a different style and personality.

DAY 20 PORTLAND TO MOUNT RAINIER 190 miles/304 Km

On the way to Mount Rainier, possibility for a fascinating detour to Mount St. Helens whose top got ripped off by a powerful explosion only two decades ago. The towering, ice-clad Mount Rainier is a striking landmark in the Pacific Northwest.

DAY 21 MOUNT RAINIER TO SEATTLE 88 miles/140 Km
